The annexation plan has been condemned worldwide, including by the United States — and momentum is building for even more countries to sanction extremist Israeli ministers Itamar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich. But words alone won't stop Netanyahu’s cabinet. Without concrete consequences, they will keep rewriting reality on the ground.
